Receiptless keeps your shopping receipts and spending in one place, and it’s private by default.
Receiptless runs entirely on your iPhone. There is no account, no sign-up, and no Receiptless server. Your receipts, photos, categories, and totals are stored only on your device. Nothing is uploaded, sold, or shared.
You add receipts by taking or choosing a photo or by entering the details by hand. Both are stored locally on your device.
Receiptless does not sign you in to anything and does not connect to your email, your bank, or any other account. It has no account system of its own, and it never asks for a password.
Receiptless Pro can export your receipts as a PDF or CSV file. The file is created on your device and handed to the standard iOS share sheet, where you choose where it goes. We never see it.
Reminders are ordinary iOS local notifications scheduled by the app on your device. There is no push server and no notification token.
Receiptless is free to use. Receiptless Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase, handled entirely by Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app only whether Pro was bought; we never receive your payment details, and none of your receipts are involved in the purchase. Everything Pro unlocks runs on your device.
This is the only situation in which the app causes any network traffic at all, and Apple handles it. Receiptless makes no network requests of its own.
Delete any receipt, delete all receipts in Settings, or delete the app — any of which removes its data from your device. Questions? Email jonathanbbiles@gmail.com.
